James Morrison was born in Rugby, the middle child of three. He picked up the acoustic guitar when, aged 13, his uncle showed him a blues riff that simply blew him away.
Morrison pours his life into his songs, which are based on unvarnished honesty, passion and letting your emotions go. He triumphed at the BRITS this year, bringing home the British Male Solo Artist award.
