Sophie Ellis-Bextor has morphed from sharp-suited indie princess in theaudience, to Ibiza invigorator with Groovejet.
She then become a fully fledged dancefloor divinity on her first solo album Read My Lips and, in a nod to her Britpop roots, a sophisticated songwriter siren with Shoot From The Hip.
2007 sees her return with a new album, Trip The Light Fantastic, which according to Sophie is "an invitation to dance".
She marks this return with an appearance at this year's V Festival in both Chelmsford and Stafford.
