#5: Put down your glasses

V operates a strict no glass policy. Any found will be confiscated. That doesn't mean you can't bring alcohol or soft drinks into the campsite - just make sure it comes in plastic, foil or cardboard containers.

Don't worry too much if you run out of money. You'll find cash machines in the arena but be prepared to queue - they're bound to get really busy.

#8: Erm, toilets

Normally the most horrid part of any festival, but V's toilets are cleaned and emptied throughout the weekend. If we all make an effort to keep them as clean as possible, everyone's a winner. However long the queues get, please don't be tempted to go for a wee in the surrounding woods. Get caught and you'll be ejected immediately.
