The legendary actor arrived early at the special screening but would only wave to reporters on the red carpet. Director Kirk Jones explained: "He is private and I don't think if you look in the dictionary under genius actor it doesn't say anywhere they have to be great at chat shows and interviews. "I don't think it's something that comes natural to him and it doesn't have to when he says everything that he wants to say on screen. I think that's more than enough. I respect the fact that he's remained so private over the years."
