Simon Cowell furious over Jamie exit

Simon Cowell has threatened to axe an 'X Factor' judge.

The music mogul was reportedly furious after he lost his first act, rocker Jamie 'Afro' Archer, when voting in the sing-off went to deadlock again.

After Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh had opted to save teenage singer Lloyd Daniels, Dannii Minogue was left with the deciding vote, choosing Jamie and sending the result back into the hands of the public.

Simon looked furious when host Dermot O'Leary confirmed Jamie would leave the competition after amassing the fewest votes.

He now reportedly plans a radical shake up to prevent the situation occurring again.

After a viewer rang into spin-off show 'The Xtra Factor' to suggest losing a panellist, Simon said: "You make a very, very, very good point."

A show source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It's as though the judges have lost the ability to make a decision. They might as well just do it by public vote every week."

Simon caused controversy last week when he used his deciding vote to save twins John and Edward, sending the result to deadlock, resulting in Welsh singer Lucie Jones' departure from the competition.
