Jessie J honoured by The Voice role

Jessie J says working on 'The Voice' has been an ''honour''.

The 'Price Tag' hitmaker - who is one of the four coaches on the talent show alongside will.i.am, Danny O'Donoghue and Sir Tom Jones - is excited about this weekend's live final and thinks it will be a ''massive night'' for everyone involved with the programme.

She said: ''It's been an honour to be part of a TV show that celebrates the voice. It will be a massive night for the artists, coaches and crew.''

At the weekend, viewers watching the show's semi-final saw Jessie's act Becky Hill miss out on a place in the final to Vince Kidd, and the judge particularly loved working with her outsted singer.

She said: ''I love working with my team. Plus, I see a lot of myself in Becky.''

And though she has had a good time on the programme, the 'Domino' singer admits she was in shock when she was first asked to be a coach.

She told Grazia magazine: ''I thought the BBC was making a mistake asking me to do it in the first place. I kept saying, 'People might not know who I am!'''
