Colin Baker: I lost two stone on I'm A Celebrity
Colin Baker has lost two stone following his 17-day stint on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'.
The former 'Doctor Who' star is delighted to have shed so many pounds during his appearance on the ITV1 reality show and while he admits the Australian jungle experience was ''harder'' than he first thought, he is hoping celebrity chef Rosemary Shrager goes on to be crowned Queen of the Jungle.
Speaking about his weight loss, he said: ''That's the good thing! I've lost two stone in two and a half weeks - think how much you'd have to pay to go in one of those fancy spas to do that!
''It was a great experience and it was a harder experience than I expected ... but it was great and I've met some fantastic people. But I have to leave room for Rosemary to go ahead and win it now!''
Colin was evicted from the show after losing a head-to-head trial against darts player Eric Bristow, who the 69-year-old actor says is the ''engine'' which ''drives'' the camp.
Speaking on ITV1's 'This Morning', he added: ''Everyone was getting used to him by the end, that's his style - he plays darts, he goes round drinking with his mates and that's how they talk to each other and it took a while to get used to but in the end, I realised that he was actually the engine that drove the camp.
''He did an awful lot in there - he guarded the fire, he got us up in the morning and told us to go and get washed before Ant and Dec came to see us - so I hope you saw some of that because he's got a good heart despite that relentless exterior of his.''
Meanwhile, former 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' star Katie Price - who is hoping professional boxer David Haye is named King of the Jungle - says she would love to return to the show for another series.
She told The Sun newspaper: ''I said earlier I would do it again - third time lucky. It's not about money, it's all about the experience. Everyone should do it.''26-11-2012
