VM: Ready Phil?
PT: "Yep. Let's go!"
VM: What will be the overall series score?
PT: "I reckon, if rain doesn't intervene, we'll beat them in every remaining Test Match, so 3-0. Their bowling looks weak, the batting is alright, but they just look like a side in transition and I think we're a bit too strong for them."
VM: Who will be the top England batsman?
PT: "You can't really look further than Kevin Pietersen I reckon. With their medium pacers on good, flat English wickets he'll be licking his lips and wading in!
The only other guy who could get near him is Alastair Cook. He played a very mature innings on a slightly dodgy track and looks more composed every time he plays. So, better odds on Cook I guess, but it'll be one of the two."
VM: And what about best England bowler?
PT: "Well, Monty's had a great start with a 6-for at Lords, which will fill him with confidence.
Steve Harmison was disappointing but I think as soon as he starts to get it right, he'll blow 'em away. So...mmm...I think Harmison would be the best bet.
