The Mystery Of The Missing Devon EuroMillions Winner Remains Unsolved!

An amazing EuroMillions prize of £6,989,367.40 has yet to be claimed in the County of Devon and National Lottery players are being urged to check and double-check their tickets for the chance to claim this life-changing prize.

The hunt continues at Smugglers Cove where pirates are searching for clues which will take them to the hidden treasure – the owner of the winning ticket. The ticket, which was bought in the County of Devon, matched the five main numbers plus one Lucky Star in the EuroMillions draw on Friday 28 September 2007. The winning EuroMillions numbers on that date were 22, 30, 34, 35, 44 and Lucky Star numbers were 4 and 5. The lucky ticket-holder has under two months to come forward to claim this staggering prize, the deadline being 5.30pm on Wednesday 26 March 2008.

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to the Good Causes – adding to the £20 billion already raised through sales of lottery tickets since The National Lottery launched in November 1994.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We’re desperate to solve this mystery and unite the ticket holder with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a difference to somebody’s life. We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.

“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune! We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the hunt for the hidden treasure has a happy ending!”
