It may not look like much, but zoom in on the picture above and you'll see that it is actually The Boneyard, an 11sq km plot in the Arizona desert where the US military keeps its old war planes in extremely regimented fashion.
The site, officially known as the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group, is home to £20 billion worth of B-52 bombers, F-14 Tomcats, C-141 Starlifters and A-10 Thunderbolt 'Tank-Busters'.
