Installing your new SIM
Here’s a rundown of what you need to do when your SIM arrives
If you’re a little unsure, we can show you how to change your phone’s SIM card here.
Make sure you read your instructions
The letter you receive with your new SIM is personalised to your account, and contains all the information you need to swap your SIM, so it’s vital you read it fully before you start.
Save your contacts and voicemails
If you’ve any messages or contacts saved on your SIM, save them to your phone otherwise you may lose them. Jot down any voicemail messages you want to keep as they will be deleted when you swap.
Back up your phone
Now’s a great time to make sure your phone is backed up. You shouldn’t lose anything saved to your phone when you swap your SIM, but it’s a good idea to back it up just in case anything goes wrong with it.
