We’re always looking for ways to improve your service where we can.
So from October 1st 2007,
we plan to upgrade your L broadband speed for free from up to 4Mb to up to 10Mb* as part of a trial. That means you can download much faster during the trial – a standard music track in just 4 seconds, an album in less than a minute or an episode of a TV show in just 5 minutes*.
You can upload things much faster as well (we’ll raise your upload speed by 33% from up to 384kb up to 512kb), so if you’re uploading photos or sending emails, you’ll notice it’s quicker too.
It’s all part of a special trial in your area for at least the next two weeks. The good news is, you don’t need to do a thing. It all happens automatically from October the 1st.
We’ve put together a
customer FAQs page to deal with most common queries around the trial, also covering service levels and speed.
We'd be grateful if you could complete a quick
customer service questionnaire to give us some feedback about the speed trial and your experience of our services.
* Just to let you know, the speeds we quote are based on our technology, and yours, working at their optimum speeds. In practice, factors like the speed a website can support, the amount of traffic accessing it, and content caching, can cause speeds to vary
