"Wales were deserved winners and played brilliantly against France. They got better and better as the tournament went on and the players have really performed. The likes of Shane Williams and Martyn Williams have been brilliant. Their pack destroyed France and they did not allow them any space in their backs.
"The whole team has come on a hundred-fold in the past six weeks and I’m happy for them. The big test now will be for them to go to South Africa in the summer with the confidence they have and really perform well down there.
"It will be a huge test as I don’t think this 6 Nations has been the hardest with France chopping and changing their side, England not playing well and Ireland not being at the races. But Wales are definitely going in the right direction so imagine what they’re going to be like in a year’s time. It also bodes well for the Lions in South Africa."
