Russell Brand confirmed he will challenge Ken Livingstone and run for London Mayor - if one million people sign his online petition. The comedian will run for the Brand Spanking New London Party which advocates a cash-free economy, swapping money for "wonder" and "gasps". Would you want Russell Brand to be the mayor of your town?
