The North: Blackpool Tower
We expose some the most boring UK tourist attractions that really aren't worth seeing.
Where: Blackpool, Lancashire
Inspired by the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Blackpool Tower was built in 1894. It was nearly knocked down in the 1920s but has managed to withstand wear and tear and is now a key tourist attraction for Blackpool.
Perhaps it should have been knocked down as there’s not a lot of appeal and the view at the top really isn't all it's cracked up to be.
