The cuddly Ewoks of Return Of The Jedi lived on the lush, forested moon of Endor. In its earthly form, Endor was in fact the lovely Redwood National Park in sunny California, to the north of San Francisco. Flying on Imperial speeder bikes between the trees is frowned upon, but you'll get to gawp at those enormous Sequoia trees, and even hug a few if you're so inclined.
These forests recently doubled for a tropical island off Central America in dino-sequel The Lost World: Jurassic Park.
