Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts
Whether you’re splashing out or saving your dollars, there’s a Disney resort for your budget. Perks include Disney’s Magical Express complimentary airport –to-hotel service, extra time daily in one theme park and complimentary Guest Transportation. All you have to do is choose where – and here’s a taster.
Disney’s newest resort, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, is a country retreat evoking the ambience of Saratoga Springs in New York with its Victorian architecture and lakeside plaza. The luxury turn-of-the-century style holiday villas, all fully-equipped, spacious and beautifully designed, are walking distance or a short boat trip from the entertainment of Downtown Disney. There’s plenty to do from High Rock Spring Pool’s rockwork, whirlpool spas and water slide to the spa, which offers treatments, dry sauna, steam room and personal trainers. Close by is the Lake Buena Vista Golf Course and activities include tennis to shuffleboard. There’s even a Barbecue Pavilion for DIY dinners or dine at The Artist’s Palette, a neighbourhood eatery and market set in a colourful, converted artist's loft. Also recreating another time and place is Disney's Old Key West Resort. The verdant golf fairways, waterways and pastel-toned villas evoke turn-of-the-century Victorian Key West. The resort has four heated pool, kids’ pool and the R.E.S.T. Beach Recreation Department spa. On the Trumbo Canal, you can rent all types of watercraft from pontoon boats to the Mercury WaterMouse. There is also a picturesque 2.4-kilometre jogging trail plus tennis, basketball and volleyball courts. For a Key West dining experience, head to the family-friendly Olivia Restaurant for fresh Florida seafood and American meals with a Caribbean flavour. To relax, the high ceilinged-villa or studios have their very own jacuzzi tub.
