If 6am hikes along Peru's Inca Trail aren't your thing, PeruRail just might be. Their luxury blue-and-gold train is a lavish way to see the region of the Andes and ancient Inca land with its Cuzco or Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu route (it also goes from Cuzco to Lake Titicaca). The train leaves after the main tourist train and includes brunch and a three-course Andean dinner on the sunset trip back. At the legendary Machu Picchu, see the impressive citadel, one of the world's most spectacular archaeological sights. You can also explore the Sacred Valley towns of Chincheros and Ollantaytambo (above) and admire amazing views of Cuzco.
