Week 12

BLOG: Sharing the love

Pals Sara and Lisa will face the public vote this week after the HMs were forced to nominate in front of each other. The gang went into a screaming frenzy when BB ordered each person to write down and reveal to the house the two people they wanted evicted.

With the threat of eviction hanging over their heads, the girls were then taken to the task room and forced to decide whether to take a surprise £50,000 cash bonus for themselves or share it. Disappointingly for viewers, the friends decided to share their windfall.

"I'm going to start crying!" the newly-engaged Lisa squealed. "We're filled with joy!"

Having narrowly missed out on being put up for eviction, chef Rex was landed in hot water after he and Darnell were hauled to the Diary Room and told they faced being kicked out if their bullying of Sara didn't stop.

Darnell was told: "Big Brother reminds you that unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated in the house."

As Rex apologised to Sara, and said his comments were meant as nothing more than a joke, Darnell admitted he picked on Sara to get her back for turning him down.

"It hurt so much I needed to get her back in any way possible."

An uneasy truce has now been struck in the house, but it remains to be seen how long it will last. Watch this space...

Quids in

Housemates will have the chance to win a whopping £50,000 following tonight's nominations! Big Brother will be surprising the gang, live on air, with a nominations face-off, where housemates will have to nominate in front of each other. Sounds horrible, but the two people up for the chop will then get to play each other for the chance to grab the cash prize, which will no doubt sweeten the blow.

Elsewhere, Darnell has been continuing his attack on former crush Sara. A day after branding her an "ugly bitch", he insisted to Kat and Rachel that he doesn't rate her looks that much – and not just because he can't have her.

"I'm not mad because I can't have Sara, in all honesty I think there's definitely more attractive people. It's not like I'm reaching for the stars, for example it's Sara, it's not f****ing Jessica Alba or Mischa Barton or Paris Hilton. It's just Sara."

Despite the bitching, the HMs have been enjoying their Viva Las Vegas shopping task. Mo delighted in tying Rex up in a straightjacket for his escapologist act. His smile was quickly wiped off however, as Rex managed to escape in a matter of minutes. And Mikey and Darnell took on the roles of Elton John and Kiki Dee and put on a camp-tastic show of their hit Don't Go Breaking My Heart.

As a final part of the task, the HMs will today have to gamble away their entire food budget on slot machines that have been placed in the house. Lets hope they're all the losers everyone thinks they are!

Mo has the last word

Mohamed has booked his place in the final after being voted in as Head of House by his fellow housemates. The toy demonstrator admitted he was over the moon with the decision, which means he is exempt from this week's nominations, as he thought everyone would have voted for Kat.

"Everyone other than Belinda and Mario would be hating me being in the final."

Known for his love of snoozing, the first thing Mo did was to issue a new rule that "everybody can stay in bed for two hours". What a treat!

Talking of treats, Big Brother had quite a mellow weekend, and decided to give the HMs some presents. They saved the best for last, and Lisa got the surprise of her life as Mario returned to the house to ask her to marry him. Separated by the thick glass window, Lisa screamed and cried as her 'babe' got down on one knee.

"Is this happening, is this happening! Yes, yes, yes!"

While we're on the subject of surprises, the HMs will be set a shock live task on Wednesday. Watch this space...

In other news, the Darnell/Sara spat has taken a nasty turn. Speaking about Sara's hopes to pull Stuart on the 'outside' he told her:

"I think you're a cool person, but you're an ugly bitch."

Nicole is out!

And so Nicole has left the Big Brother house. A quick kiss from Rex and she was on her way- but not before he cheekily asked what they could do with their last 15 minutes together! Her time inside couldn’t exactly be described as the happiest. Having been denied her suitcase for a few days, she didn’t get off to the best start and all that bickering with Rex wasn’t much fun – for any of us! But she triumphed in the Thriller dance task and life wasn’t all bad for the budding actress. Who knows what offers will await her once she's had her ten minutes with Davina. But will her relationship with Rex survive the Big Brother experience, and will he follow her out?

Mikey wasn’t exactly a Nicole fan.

"At the deep root of Nicole's personality I think she is quite selfish... I think she likes everyone running about after her."

Earlier in the day Sara popped into the Diary Room for a chat about her ever-changing feelings for Darnell. Seems she’s not as keen on him as she might have led us to think. She’s also not feeling ‘loved’ since she found out she was up for eviction this week. The faint whiff of paranoia perhaps?

And with the rumour that Mario is going to make a return to the house to pop the question to Lisa, it’s looking like a loved-up weekend. Except for Rex that is!

Thrills and spills

There was much bending and stretching as the housemates prepared for the zombie-tastic Thriller video task.

But all the dancing hasn’t exactly made for a happy house. Mo and Darnell came to blows over Kat’s bad back. The cookie monster had spent the day in jail for discussing nominations (again) and there was a bit of a panic over whether she’d be able to take part in the zombie epic.

"Kat has got a bad back… and a bad knee as well", Mohammed chirped.

"You know how ****** up you guys sound right now?" snapped Darnell. "You guys are using her back as an excuse to not want her to do something. That is ******* disgraceful."

But Mo was having none of it.

"**** you! You've manipulated the whole situation. You know what? I have always said you over-analyse situations. You always have done it, you've done it so many times! You've done it now!"

Cue awkward silence.

As the housemates began their performance, a nervous looking Rex watched on a plasma screen.

"Faster, faster!” he shouted as Mikey and Kat struggled to keep up. Nicole proved to be the star of the show, setting the pace for her fellow zombie slackers.

And, double hurrah, the housemates passed the Thriller Task and were rewarded with lashings of booze. Bonus!

"We're gonna play some games tonight - we're gonna play for the beers," announced a proud Rex.
