From Doctor Who's sidekick to modern call girl Belle De Jour, Billie Piper has been on quite a small screen journey in the last year.
Earlier this year, Billie took a potential career suicide leap by signing up for the racy ITV drama, Secret Diary Of A Call Girl. In the drama, originally screened on ITV2, Billie's character, Belle De Jour, guided us through her life as a high-class escort.
The drama is adapted from the best-selling, real life diaries of Belle de Jour.
For her research, Billie even met up with the real-life Belle. "She enjoyed what she did and felt in control," says Billie. "Prostitution can be hideous, abusive and destructive, but this woman has a different story to tell."
Now the drama gets a repeat run but this time on ITV, the first episode is cunningly placed immediately after the Champions League Final on Wednesday.
Secret Diary Of A Call Girl is on ITV on Wednesday at 10.40pm.
