Beginning at 6am on 1st September, Virgin L customers can enjoy National Geographic Channel – which is normally only available to XL customers – absolutely free, until 30th September. You can find it by going to channel 230 (232 for National Geographic Channel HD).
Seconds From Disaster is returning after a four-year break and launching with a fresh look at the 9/11 tragedy. See how Air Traffic Control and the US Air Force dealt with the hijacks during the vital seconds in which decisions had to be made. Other episodes in the series will include Pearl Harbour and the Paddington rail disaster. Don't miss it - tune in Monday nights at 9pm from 5th September.
9/11 Week
As part of a week-long memorial to the 10th anniversary of 9/11, National Geographic Channel will air original programming, including George W. Bush: The 9/11 Interview. Watch the exclusive interview, during which the former US president discusses the killing of Osama bin Laden for the first time, on Tuesday 6th September at 9pm. There's also Secrets Of Seal Team 6, an in-depth look into the team that captured and killed Osama bin Laden.
