Lee: ‘Steps documentary is stressful’

Lee Latchford Evans admits filming a documentary while touring with Steps can be ''stressful''.

The 37-year-old singer - who stars in the pop band alongside Ian 'H' Watkins, Faye Tozer, Lisa Scott Lee and Claire Richards - claims creating Sky Living show 'Steps: On the Road Again' has not always been easy but he does still get time to ''chill out''.

He said: ''It's quite nice in a way that, as people will see, it's not 24/7 in your face with a camera. There are days when they are not there and those are the days when you can have a little chill out time or speak to your families properly or have business meetings, whatever is happening. But seven or 8 times out of 10 they are there.

''It can get stressful, because it's an added pressure on top of a tour. The tour's already a pressure because you want to do the best show you can. But, generally, you could say it's a chicken or egg situation. Which came first?''

However he admits he has not had time to watch the series himself.

He added: ''I haven't watched it yet. I watched the last series, I watched it live on air like everybody else. I didn't see anything before that. And, actually, with this show, I'm behind everyone else, because I haven't seen it. I'll probably catch up about episodes two or three.''
