Comedian Jimmy Carr will join Little Britain’s Matt Lucas to take it in turn to become Big Brother.

Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack will differ from previous versions of the hit reality show - each day a new celebrity will act as Big Brother. Making the house rules and setting the challenges for the housemates will be ... Matt Lucas, Jimmy Carr, Jake and Dinos Chapman, Keith Lemon, Malcolm McLaren, Joan Rivers, Brian Sewell and Ian Wright.

More celebrities will be revealed soon.

This year’s contestants will differ too. Rather than doing open auditions, Channel 4 picked "gifted young prodigies" for house mates. Expect to see talented young artists, poets and businessmen. So ... er ... no Charley then? The housemates will be competing for a £50,000 prize.

The new series starts on E4 on 9pm, Thursday, 3rd January.
