Pete Burns
With a new Celebrity Big Brother back on our screens, we remember some of the names who lit up our screens (or filled us with horror) in previous shows and ask: where are they now?
Pete Burns
It’s been a busy year for the big-lipped pop star. Since doing Celeb BB, he’s done time in Wandsworth Prison after breaking bail conditions imposed when he was accused of harassing ex-boyfriends, is reported to have had a run in with a hotel over an unpaid bill and most recently got his own show on Living TV. Pete Burns Unspun follows the Dead Or Alive frontman as he leaves prison, moves in with an obsessive fan and tries to rebuild his life!
George Galloway Anyone who questioned George’s judgement following his involvement with the late Saddam Hussein won’t have been surprised when his attempt to attract the popular vote via appearing on Celeb BB went so spectacularly wrong. Since his cat impersonation antics, he seems to have lost the respect of many of his constituents and has taken part in an anti-war song with Lauren Booth released via his Respect Party.

Galloway and Marsh
Jodie Marsh During Jodie’s short stay in the house, we watched her come to blows with Michael Barrymore and Pete Burns, flirt with various celeb males and bond with fellow Essex girl Chantelle. Since she left, she’s got engaged to some guy after a few days, has campaigned against school bullying and recently revealed that she is working on an X-rated novel based on her own sexual experiences. Classy.
Michael Barrymore
He might have been a runner-up in the celeb house but Barrymore’s attempts to claw his way back into the spotlight have not been a success so far. However, things seem to be going kind of “awwwightâ€? as he recently published his autobiography and is soon to star in Scrooge: The Musical. Oh, and news just in - the police have just re-opened the Stuart Lubbock case.
Caprice
She entertained us with her daily exercises classes and bikini-clad sauna moments while in the house but since she left, we’ve heard relatively little from the blonde beauty. What we do know is that she enjoyed brief relations with England cricketer Kevin Pietersen, became the face of Diet Coke, has been working on her own line of lingerie and, more recently, managed to evade a drink driving charge.
Les Dennis
During his time in the house, we saw Dennis talk to the chickens, break into crying sessions and sing a worrying amount of show tunes as he went through a public separation from his wife. Since then, he had a similar experience on Ricky Gervais’ show Extras where he played a parody of his former tragic self. Good to see he can now see the funny side of it all.
Chris Eubank
The former world champion boxer who starred in the first ever Celebrity Big Brother is well known for his flamboyant lifestyle, but life is likely to have changed for him in the last couple of years. Eubank found himself on the ropes after a painful bout with the taxman as he was declared bankrupt in 2005, owing £1.3 million in taxes. The same year also saw his wife Karron file for divorce after 15 years of marriage.
Mark Owen
Little Markie walked away the winner of the second Celebrity Big Brother and back into the quiet life. However, following the sell-out reunion tour of Take That, minus Robbie, the boys’ new single, Patience, found itself in the No 1 slot. Their album Beautiful World has been at the top of the album charts for five weeks and world domination seems to be theirs once more.
