Business Development Manager, Majid Nagra has become the third person to be fired by Sir Alan Sugar.
We caught up with The Apprentice’s ‘reformed rebel’ for an exclusive interview to find out where it all went wrong...
How does it feel to be fired by Sir Alan?
I’m absolutely devastated. I can’t believe I got fired so early on. There’s so much I could have showed him but I didn’t get a chance, so I’m kind of gutted.
Did he make the right decision?
I thought James should have got fired. In the boardroom, I completely switched off because I thought James would definitely go. It came as quite a surprise when he didn’t.
What happened?
My tactic was, actions speak louder than words but unfortunately that back fired.
Should the team have given Ben’s sex exercise idea a go instead?
I think if we did that we all would have been fired.
Did having the girls join Empire improve the team?
No I think we lost one of our best team members in Philip. I think Philip ‘The Power’ Taylor will cruise through to the final and win it.
Is that your special name for Philip?
Oh I called him all sorts. Big Philly, Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor (after the darts player), he’s a good laugh. I shared a room with him so I got on with him really well.
What did you think of the other team’s performance?
I don’t think Deborah was a good project manager.
She comes across quite badly in the show – how did you find her? Sometimes when the camera’s on them, people go a bit AWOL and think they’re a hero. But when the camera’s not there, they’re just normal, nice people.
Who was worse as a project manager, Rocky or James?
James. Without a doubt. He didn’t know what he was doing. The only mistake Rocky made was going over the top with the Olympic theme by getting the togas and spending too much on all that malarkey.
What are you plans now?
Well I’ve still got the luxury car hire company and I’ve just set up an Asian dating website. What I really want to do though is start focussing more on the theatre company I’ve set up to help combat youth crime.
