The Apprentice: "Debra doesn’t give a sh*t"

Senior Business Manager, Mona Lewis has become the eighth person to be fired by Sir Alan Sugar.

We caught up with the former Tanzanian beauty-queen for an exclusive interview to find out what she thought of her project manager and discuss how she really feels about homosexuals…

Did Sir Alan make the right decision?
No, I think it was the wrong decision. The responsibility should have been on Debra’s head.

Where did it all go wrong?
I think I’d given up before I’d started to be honest. A couple of days before I got fired I reached my breaking point and I just wanted to go home. I really missed my son.

How do you rate Deborah’s management style?
Debra and I had our differences but I do admire her determination and her energy. She really doesn’t give a sh*t about what she says or how she comes across.

According to reports, a scene was axed from this week’s episode where you said, "I wouldn’t want my child to meet a gay man?"
It’s quite hilarious because when that story came out, Howard called me and said: "What are they talking about?" I have gay mates and my son knows them all.

Who did you find the most different off camera?
Ben. He always used to go on about how he and I could have a career in modelling and get magazine deals. That really annoyed me. I was there to come out with a good career nothing more.

So you wouldn’t want to sell your story to Heat magazine?
Oh I would do it – I haven’t got a problem with that!

Did you find any of your fellow candidates attractive?
Not at all. Write that in bold and capital letters.

Who is the worst candidate left in the show do you think?
I’m actually embarrassed that I got fired before Ben. That’s not something I’m looking forward to having on my CV at all. I hope he goes away soon so I don’t have to carry this huge burden.

What are you plans now?
I don’t have particular plans. I’ll be spending loads of time with my son Ryan because I really did miss him, and I feel really guilty that I was away from him for such a long time.

Who do you think will win the series?
I think a girl will win. I got on really well with Yasmina and she’s got that extra oompf that I don’t. I do hope she wins.
