A new addition to the McQueen family could be set to join 'Hollyoaks'.
Claire Cooper - who plays Jacqui McQueen in the Channel 4 soap - admitted she would be pleased to see a new character brought into the troublesome tribe.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "There might be some new McQueens joining 'Hollyoaks' in the future. I've heard some some mumbles but I won't know for sure until I see the script. I welcome anybody into our family!
"It's interesting and always creates a new life for the McQueens. When Jorgie Porter (Theresa) joined it rejuvenated everything."
The actress - who has played the bolshie brunette since 2006 - also confessed she loves playing Jacqui because her alter-ego's traits are so different to her own personality.
Claire added: "A lot of the situations she gets herself into I'd just be crying on the floor because I'm such a scaredy cat. That's why I love playing her - I have to work really hard at not letting too much of myself come into the part. It's sometimes really difficult but I love it.
"If I was just playing myself or the traditional girl next door character I'd get really bored. I feel really privileged to play Jacqui - it's the best thing. She's a really intense character but people can be quite harsh about her if they don't get her."
