The award-winning sitcom Peep Show returns for a fifth series tonight. Our futile flatmates Mark (David Mitchell) and Jeremy (Robert Webb) are still singletons following Mark's meltdown at his wedding at the end of series four.

Now time is running out for them to sort out their lives. But how? Well, Mark goes speed dating and discovers money can buy you love and Jeremy's mum appears on the scene and it soon becomes clear why he's ended up as he is.
