Another week, another casualty on the ker-razy X Factor bandwagon.
This Saturday it was the turn of plucky Welshman Andy Williams. After a shaky version of Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars Simon Cowell, with the casting vote, decided to boot off the former asbestos factory worker. "That was like eating caviar with salad cream, the song was caviar and the vocal was salad cream. Once again you got it wrong,” said Simon, refusing to sit on the fence as per.
"I was gutted to leave," said Andy. "If only I'd performed the song as well as I did in the sing-off (with Over-25 contestant Beverley), I might have stayed in."
