She was the 'mum' of the competition and the first female contestant in her category (Over 25s) ever to make it this far (the semi-final.) But the ability to belt out a ballad really rather convincingly wasn't enough to save Niki Evans on Saturday's X Factor.
Niki's performances of Songbird and One Moment In Time saw her in the bottom two and eventually she was cruelly voted out over Michael Buble impersonator Leon.
Still, where there's life, there's hope, no not them, they left last week remember? As this week's final boils down to the final three, Rhydian, Leon and Same Difference, Niki finds herself currently mulling over offers of live work, a possible partnership with her new best mate and fellow evictee Bev Trotman and an offer to record an album.
