The X Factor returned for a fantastic fourth series on Saturday and looks likely to be as explosive as ever with the requisite number of deluded warblers and glass-shattering, foghorn-voiced karaoke belters.

First up to audition in front of the judges was 55-year-old Susan Perkins from Kent who is convinced that, “When I walk back through these doors I hope I’m going to be a superstar”. Launching into a rendition of ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ it’s not long before Susan has the Judges in fits of laughter.
Next up is 70-year-old toothless Emily who says she envies Simon Cowell his dazzling set of molars. Mr. Nasty likens Emily's shrieking performance to something out of a horror movie. Relive the full horror by clicking on the links above.
