Theron (Monster) plays Lorraine Broughton, an MI6 field agent in Berlin before the fall of the Wall, in this adaptation of graphic novel The Coldest City. Think Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy meets Kill Bill, with a killer soundtrack to boot, including David Bowie, Marilyn Manson and The Clash.
Broughton is sent to investigate the murder of a fellow agent, while reclaiming a list of double agents that has gone walkabout. Along the way she gets into hot water with fellow agent David Percival (James McAvoy, X-Men), exhausts her MI6 superior Eric Gray (Toby Jones, The Hunger Games) and gets jiggy with French spy Delphine (Sofia Boutella, Kingsman: The Secret Service).
