Passengers

It’s a surprise, we know!

It’s not Jennifer or Chris, but Michael Sheen who steals the show in Passengers...

Pull up a stool and enjoy this sci-fi blockbuster – not for Jennifer Lawrence. Not even for Chris Pratt. But for the consummate scene-stealer that is Michael Sheen...

OK, yes we're going to gush. But before we do, here's what you need to know about the film's plot. Aurora Lane (American Hustle's Jennifer Lawrence) and Jim Preston (Guardians Of The Galaxy's Chris Pratt) are two strangers bound for the planet Homestead II, along with thousands of others, to start new lives for themselves.

However, their journey across space goes far from hunky dory. When Jim and Aurora wake up early from hypersleep – always a pain when that happens – all they have for company is android bartender Arthur (Frost/Nixon's Michael Sheen).

The pair struggle to get along, but this cosmic clash of personalities has to take a back seat when the ship they’re travelling on encounters all kinds of critical problems, forcing the pair to work together and fix the big mess they're in.

While Pratt and Lawrence shine like the stars that they are in this space-age adventure, Sheen’s turn as the benevolent yet quirky Arthur sees the Welsh actor take his place among film and TV’s most memorable bartenders.
