Over the next week, Virgin TV is bringing you all sorts of world-class sporting action from all sorts of places. It’s a feast, a buffet, a pick ‘n’ mix of the highest order. And these are the top dishes…

1. 2018 Winter Olympics

Continues Friday 23 February, BBC and Eurosport

After two weeks of thrilling competition, the greatest show on snow (and ice) is coming to an end. Don’t worry, there are still loads of medals to be dished out before the flame is extinguished. British hopes will be highest in the curling, but for all-out entertainment it’ll be difficult to beat the men’s ice hockey semi-finals and gold medal game, the four-man bobsleigh final and the men’s and ladies’ mass start speed skating finals.

2. Indoor Grand Prix: Glasgow

Sunday 25 February, 2pm, BBC Two/HD (CH 102/162)

Talking of Olympians, the cream of Britain’s track and field crop will do battle in Glasgow this Sunday afternoon. London 2012 long jump gold medallist Greg Rutherford headlines on his return from injury, but also look out for men’s 4 x 100m World Championship gold medallists Adam Gemili, Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake and CJ Ujah, London 2012 4 x 100m silver medallist Dina-Asher Smith and Scottish star Laura Muir.

3. ITV Racing Live

Saturday 24 February, 1.30pm, ITV 4/HD (CH 118/178)

ITV4’s Saturday afternoon racing coverage has something for everyone. Flat racing fans can tuck into some all-weather action from Lingfield, while national hunt followers will be treated to several high-quality chases from Kempton and Newcastle, including the historic Betfred Eider Handicap Chase. Will a new star make a name for itself in this gruelling test run for the Grand National?

4. UCI Track Cycling World Championships

From Wednesday 28 February, TBC, Eurosport and BBC

The world’s fastest track cyclists (and their futuristic bikes, aerodynamic helmets and gargantuan thighs) gather in Apeldoorn, Holland for the biggest event of the 2018 track season so far. Expect frantic pedalling, daredevil overtaking, the odd crash and some extremely close finishes.

4. Leicester City v Stoke City

Saturday 24 February, 11.30am, Sky Sports Mix/HD (CH 520/510)

The 2015/16 Premier League champions continue their push for Europe with a lunchtime scrap against relegation-threatened Stoke City. The away team’s main issue this season has been conceding goals – they shipped 50 in their first 25 games – and when you add this news to the fact that three of the last five Premier League meetings between these two teams have finished 2-2, it suggests we could be in for a bit of a goal-fest.

5. Saracens v Leicester Tigers

Sunday 25 February, 3.15pm, BT Sport 1/HD (CH 531/527)

Newsflash! Televised rugby doesn’t begin and end with the NatWest 6 Nations. This season, along with showing matches from the Anglo-Welsh Cup, The Singha Premiership Rugby 7s, the European Rugby Champions Cup and European Rugby Challenge Cup, BT Sport is bringing fans up to 80 live matches from the Aviva Premiership. The pick of this Sunday afternoon’s two live games is a massive confrontation between European champions Saracens and sleeping giants Leicester.

6. Watford v Everton

Saturday 24 February, 5.00pm, BT Sport 1/HD (CH 531/527)

Five goals, two penalties, Everton coming back from 2-0 down to win 3-2, 12 minutes of injury time… if the last Premier League battle between these two sides is anything to go by, then the latest of BT Sport’s 42 live matches from this season’s Premier League is going to be an absolute barnstormer.

7. Oklahoma City Thunder @ Golden State Warriors

NBA action

Sunday 25 February, 1.30am, BT Sport 1/HD (CH 531/527)

Did you know that BT Sport shows up to seven NBA games per week throughout the regular season, as well as the first and second rounds of the Playoffs, every game from the Conference finals and the entire NBA Finals series? This week’s most exuberant slam dunk of a clash sees defending champions Golden State Warriors face-off against Western Conference playoff hopefuls Oklahoma City Thunder.

8. BT Sport Fight Night: The Untouchables

Saturday 24 February, 8.30pm, BT Sport 1/HD (CH 531/527)

Fights! Camera! Action! Prepare for a huge night of explosive boxing from London, with rising British stars Daniel Dubois and Anthony Yarde both stepping into the ring for two epic title bouts. Dubois will defend his Southern Area heavyweight belt against fellow Brit DL Jones, while WBO inter-continental light-heavyweight champion Yarde will be hoping that he can retain his crown against Frenchman Tony Averlant. Bring it on.

9. WWE Elimination Chamber

Sunday 25 February, 1am, Sky Sports Box Office. Pricing is £19.95 for SD and £20.95 for HD

Diva Las Vegas! Six of the WWE’s biggest female stars are heading to Sin City for the first-ever women’s elimination chamber match. Raw’s women’s champion Alexa Bliss will defend her title against five big-name rivals in this landmark battle, which shares top-billing with a brutal six-man elimination chamber match featuring the likes of John Cena, Elias and Braun Strowman. Booking is open now.
