“You’ve got to like adrenalin!”

ParalympicsGB stars Angie Malone and Ben Moore chat to Virgin TV Edit ahead of the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Paralympic Games

Thought the action from PyeongChang was over? You couldn’t be more wrong

2018 Winter Paralympics, from Friday 9 March, 10.55am, Channel 4/HD (CH 104/141)

Brace yourself for more thrills, spills and chills on the slopes, rinks and half-pipes of South Korea, because it’s time to be wowed by the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games!

Following their highest ever finish in the medal table at the Winter Paralympics in Sochi four years ago, there are high hopes for the UK’s stars to deliver yet more glory when this spectacular sporting showpiece starts on Friday 9 March. But with nearly 50 other nations battling for medals, competition is going to be fiercer than ever.

Speaking of our home-grown stars, did you know that Virgin Media is now proudly supporting ParalympicsGB at these Winter Games and at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

Two Brit athletes flying the flag out in South Korea are wheelchair curler Angie Malone and para snowboarder Ben Moore. 52-year-old Malone, who has a Sochi bronze medal, a Turin silver medal and MBE to her name, will be competing in her fourth Games. It’ll be a first for Moore, 29, who became the first British para snowboarder to win a medal at the World Championships back in 2015.

We recently caught up with the pair to find out how they’ve been preparing for the Paralympics, what they hope to achieve, and, of course, what they’ve been watching on the telly…
