What is pay per view?

Premium live sport and other events you can watch for a one-off fee on your Virgin Media TV. Virgin Media brings you the best in pay per view boxing, mixed martial arts, wrestling events and more.


How does pay per view work?

If your account is up to date, you can order most pay per view events up to 5 days before they broadcast. Buy your chosen Live Event from your Virgin TV account and get ready to watch it live, or on repeat the following working day.

If you’ve already missed the event, not to worry, as you can still order the repeat and watch it there and then, from the comfort of your own sofa.
Please be sure to check any scheduling details at the point of purchase and note that pay per view events cannot be recorded on your Virgin TV box.


How to order a pay per view event on Virgin Media?

To order a pay per view event, you must have a TiVo®, Virgin TV V6 (powered by TiVo®), Virgin TV 360 or a Stream box.
Instructions for our different TV boxes vary slightly, so please find your TV box and its corresponding instructions below:

  1. Go to Home > On Demand > Live Events.

  2. Then press the red button.

  3. Choose from the available pay per view events (enter your TV PIN if required).

  4. To view your booking, once purchased, go to Home > Live Events > Event Bookings.

  1. Go to Home > Pay Per View events rail.

  2. Press OK then choose your event and follow the instructions on screen.

  3. A TV PIN may not be required.

How to watch a pay per view event on another Virgin Media set-top-box?

If you have a TiVo®, Virgin TV V6 powered by TiVo® or Virgin TV 360 set-top-box you can watch your pay per view event on another Virgin Media set-top-box, rather than the one you purchased it on, provided it is the same set-top-box type associated to the account.

Pay per view events can be viewed on any second TiVo® or V6 set-top-box associated to the account.

In the instance that your pay per view is not working, please follow the error message on your Virgin TV, or call us on 150 from your Virgin Media landline or Virgin Mobile. Or call 0345 454 1111* from any other phone.
