Tomorrow will see the opening of Virgin Media’s ‘TV Diner’ – the first pop-up restaurant to serve up an entire menu of classic dishes made famous from film and TV’s most memorable on-screen moments. The eclectic menu takes inspiration from the Big Kahuna Burger (Pulp Fiction), Los Pollos Hermanos chicken (Breaking Bad), and Freddy’s ribs (House Of Cards) and celebrates the immense library of Box Sets and movies available on Virgin Media.

Situated on Soho’s Bateman Street, Virgin Media’s TV Diner is open to the public for one day only - Tuesday 14th October - and will have a tempting array of dishes on offer, recreated and prepared by chef, Neil Rankin (owner of acclaimed Islington restaurant, The Smokehouse).

Neil Rankin, said: “Developing the menu for the TV Diner has been a brilliant challenge, I’m a huge film and Box Set fan myself so the opportunity to create dishes inspired by cult classics was just too good to pass up. I’m looking forward to welcoming telly and film buffs through the door and giving them the chance to taste their favourite characters’ food.”

Richard Larcombe, Director of Brand and Marketing at Virgin Media, added: “We’re really excited to open the TV Diner - food, film and TV go naturally hand in hand so this felt like the perfect way to demonstrate Virgin Media’s huge entertainment library. I can't wait to see how many people take on the mammoth Big Kahuna burger and $5 shake - it's not for the faint-hearted!"

Open from 8.30am until 8.00pm on Tuesday the 14th October, Virgin Media’s TV Diner will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner sittings. With limited seats available, pre-booking* is advised, although customers are also welcome to pop-along and queue on the day.
