Guardians will rise as Virgin Media & Activision host special Destiny 2 Event on July 17 – 18

29 June 2017

Virgin Media VIVID Gamer customers offered a chance to play Destiny 2 on the eve of the BETA

Virgin Media is joining forces with Activision and Bungie to invite VIVID Gamer customers to play Destiny 2 just before the BETA starts.  Via a special Destiny event on 17 and 18 July, customers can get early hands-on access to the Destiny 2 Beta on PlayStationâ 4.

From Activision and Bungie; Destiny 2 is one of this year’s most hotly anticipated games. Featuring a cinematic story campaign, the last safe city on Earth has fallen and lays in ruins, occupied by Dominus Ghaul and his elite army, the Red Legion. Every player creates their own character called a ‘Guardian’, humanity’s chosen protectors. As a Guardian, players must master new abilities and weapons to reunite the city’s forces, stand together and fight back to reclaim their home.

To celebrate the arrival of the Destiny 2 Beta, Virgin Media is hosting a special UK gameplay event, which will take place in London this July. Virgin Fibre x Destiny 2: The Beta Experience will be packed full of Destiny-related surprises and will showcase the game in all its glory on PlayStationâ 4, including on PS4ä Pro, where attendees will be able to enjoy playing in stunning up-scaled 4k resolution.

  • What: Virgin Fibre x Destiny 2: The BETA Experience
  • Where: Central London – Secret Location
  • When: Monday 17 July, Tuesday 18 July
  • How to Attend: Virgin Media customers can get tickets for the exclusive event by entering a competition via virginmedia.com/destiny2beta from this Thursday (June 29). Avid gamers can win tickets via Virgin Media’s Facebook and Twitter channels, too.
