Virgin Media has agreed an exclusive partnership with Telegraph Media Group (TMG) to promote its unrivalled sports TV offering across The Telegraph’s prestigious football coverage.

As the only place to get every BT Sport and Sky Sports channel in a single TV subscription, including in HD, Virgin Media is helping football fans see every minute of every televised match. This unprecedented partnership will celebrate the availability of the Premier League to watch on Virgin TV, as well as on Virgin Media customers’ tablets, smartphones and laptops.

This Monday, 19th January, will see the launch of the partnership with Virgin Media as  the exclusive partner for Telegraph Total Football, The Telegraph’s dedicated supplement to the best coverage of the football season. The supplement will appear as a separate section in The Daily Telegraph each Monday for the duration of the season providing news, comment and analysis of the weekend's football

Starting a fortnight before transfer deadline day – one of the most eagerly-anticipated events in the Premier League calendar when clubs finalise their squads for the season – Virgin Media will also have an exclusive presence on The Telegraph’s popular Football Live blog, and on weekly Premier League Insider emails.

Virgin Media customers will also have the opportunity to attend ‘Total Football Live’ events hosted by The Telegraph’s top sports writers. The first event will feature a panel with The Telegraph’s Chief Football Correspondent, Henry Winter, Chief Sports Writer, Paul Hayward and former Premier League player and manager Tim Sherwood. The event will be held on Tuesday 3rd February and the panel will be discussing the previous night’s closure of the transfer window. These events will be streamed live on The Telegraph online and Virgin Media’s website.

Richard Larcombe, Director of Brand and Marketing at Virgin Media, said: “Virgin Media is without doubt the best place to watch all the football and The Telegraph has some of the most insightful and well-connected sports writers in the game. Together, this is a perfect partnership and we will have a number of exciting innovations to unveil throughout the year. If the football is on TV, it’s on Virgin Media.”

Adam Sills, Head of Sport, TMG, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Virgin Media to bring back Telegraph Total Football. This weekly section will be back in the paper every Monday, dedicated to all the weekend’s football action. Our unrivalled team of football writers will tell readers all they need to know about the weekend’s games and the week ahead, reinforcing The Telegraph’s commitment to providing the best sporting coverage in paper and online.”

The partnership, brokered by the Virgin Media team at Manning Gottlieb OMD, will continue throughout 2015 and will complement Virgin Media’s advertising activity across TV, print, out of home and online. Media planning will be handled by the Virgin Media team at Manning Gottlieb OMD.
