Everything you need to know about the Virgin Media Connect app.

What’s the Virgin Media Connect app?

It’s how you connect to our free WiFi hotspots if you have our broadband or Virgin Mobile sim card. You can also manage and monitor your home WiFi network on the Virgin Media Connect app – it’s designed for the Hub 3 but stay tuned for app updates if you’re using Hub 4 or the newest Hub 5.

How does the Virgin Media Connect app work?

Using the Connect app is really easy, here’s how to get started today:

  1. Download the app – it's free from Google Play or Apple’s App Store.

  2. Sign in using your Virgin Mobile account, your Virgin Media broadband account, or both:
  • If our sim card is in the device, switch your mobile data on (and any VPNs off) – the Connect app should sign you in automatically, using your Virgin Mobile account. Follow the prompts to add your broadband account as well, for the full features.
  • If you aren’t with Virgin Mobile, open the app and sign in using your My Virgin Media account details. You’ll need to be online (WiFi or mobile data is fine).

  1. Enjoy the features – no need to keep signing in, the app should remember you and let you connect to our WiFi hotspots automatically when your device is in range. If you don’t have a Hub 3, please see our guide to Changing a different Hub’s WiFi settings

  2. Share the benefits – sign in and use the Connect app on up to seven devices at the same time, if you have our broadband.
