What is my Virgin Mobile SIM's unlock PIN?
Every Virgin Mobile SIM card comes with a SIM unlock PIN already set. So once you insert your brand new 4G SIM, you’ll just need to enter 7890 when you switch on your phone.
Don’t worry if you forget the PIN.

When do I need to enter the SIM PIN code?
If you’ve got a new iPhone, you’ll need to enter the SIM PIN as soon as you switch on your phone. If you’re just using a new SIM in your iPhone, then you’ll enter the SIM unlock PIN after you’ve entered your passcode or fingerprint.
If you’ve got an Android phone, you’ll enter the SIM unlock PIN as soon as you switch your phone on.
What should I do if I enter my SIM unlock PIN incorrectly?
You’ll have three chances to enter the SIM unlock Pin. If you enter the wrong PIN code into your Virgin Mobile three times, your SIM card will automatically lock. If this happens, you’ll be asked to enter your PUK code. Your PUK code is displayed on the SIM card holder that came in your starter pack.
What happens if I no longer have my PUK code?
No problem, just login to Your Account to find your PUK code.
Can I change the SIM PIN code?
It iss possible for you to change the SIM unlock PIN.
If you’ve got an iPhone, you can change it by going into Settings > Phone > SIM PIN > Change PIN.
If you’ve got an Android phone, please go into Settings >Security > Change Pin.
How do I change my settings so that I no longer have to use the SIM PIN?
If you’ve got an iPhone, you should go into Settings > Phone > SIM PIN to update your SIM PIN settings.
If you’ve got an Android phone, you should go into Settings > Security to update your SIM PIN settings.
What should I do if my handset is locked?
If your screen shows any of the following when you first put your Virgin Mobile SIM into your phone: 'blocked', 'barred', 'incorrect SIM' or 'SP lock', your mobile may be locked to another network.
