My account has been accessed by someone else

If you believe your My Virgin Media account has been accessed by someone else, please take the following steps:

  1. Check your Devices for Malware
  2. Change your My Virgin Media password to a new, unique password, not the same as used for other web sites or services
  3. Check your Virgin Media email account for any forwarding rules
  4. If using Multi Factor Authentication
    • Please generate a new email app password
    • Please check for any unknown Multi Factor Authentication methods, or consider resetting them
    • Check for any unknown sub-accounts (and follow these steps for any sub accounts)
    • Check your Virgin Media email account for any forwarding rules
