Worried about missing out on all the excitement? We’ve got your back…

How-to-watch guide

Are you ready for the biggest sporting week of 2018? With F1 from Silverstone, Wimbledon, the World Cup quarter-finals, the Tour de France and the start of England’s ODI series against India on the box, it’s going to be truly epic.

But with so much unmissable drama on your telly, how are you going to keep up to speed with every stunning goal, ace, six and race to the finish line when the action is on at the same time?

It’s easy. As a Virgin TV customer, you don’t have to miss a thing. Whether it’s watching on a second screen with the Virgin TV Go and Sky Sports apps, recording like a pro, or following on Catch Up TV, these useful tips will help you stay ahead of the game and enjoy every unforgettable moment…

Be a second-screen superstar

When the only clash you want to see is on the pitch and not in your TV Guide, the awesome Virgin TV Go app and Sky Sports app mean you can follow the action on your device while enjoying something else on your telly at the same time. That’s double the drama from the comfort of your sofa.

Record to your heart’s content

The Virgin TV V6 box, powered by TiVo®, lets you record a whopping six shows while you watch a seventh recorded earlier. And don’t worry about space, because this awesome piece of kit can store 500 hours of Standard Definition telly (or 100 hours of High Definition telly). Virgin TV customers with a standard TiVo® box can record three shows while watching a fourth.

Get up to speed quicker than ever

Not got a lot of time but want to catch up on the big game? No problem! Our Virgin TV V6 box has a secret weapon – Quick View. This new function allows you to watch recordings at an increased speed without affecting the sound quality. Now that’s what we call handy.

Stay bang up to date with Catch Up TV

With 30-day catch up on BBC iPlayer and Sky on demand and 7-day catch up on the ITV Hub, there really is no excuse to miss any of the stunning sport coming your way. Alternatively, you can scroll through your TV guide and watch any of the shows that display the Catch Up TV symbol.
