Listen up! In celebration of BBC Music Day, members of two of Britain’s most recognisable 90s bands are taking part in a one-off Bargain Hunt special that you really don’t want to miss.

Jarvis Cocker and Candida Doyle of Britpop stalwarts Pulp square off against Mark “Bez” Berry and Rowetta Satchell of Mad-chester’s Happy Mondays in this unique battle of the bands.

The teams will head to Kent Showground, where they will each be given £300 to spend on three items to take to auction, with the money raised going to charity. But which pair will hit all the right notes and make the biggest profit?

It’s going to be musical mayhem when the teams swap partying for bartering, but before you tune into Friday’s special episode, we’ve crunched the numbers and sized up the respective groups to determine who has the better chance of going Bargain Hunt platinum…
