Ready to really spoil the little ones? From new episodes of their favourite shows to a very special “super” channel, it’s enough to give them a sugar rush!
Easter picks for kids on Virgin TV
Chocolate eggs are pretty wonderful but it’s what’s inside that really counts – and those things are hollow! Your Virgin TV, on the other hand, is bursting at the seams this Easter with more delicious treats than you can fling a rabbit at (please don’t). In fact, there’s so much for the kids to enjoy that we’ve got our own Virgin TV Kids App, so you can take the fun with you!
Whether you’re staying at home this Easter weekend or hitting the road, there’s something to keep every kid entertained. Take a look at what’s coming up on the box…
Daily from 4pm, Nickelodeon (CH 712)
Henry Danger star Jace Norman is on hosting duty over the Easter holidays. Joined by the rest of the cast, he’ll be taking over Nickelodeon for a special Easter stunt, showing off brand new episodes of Henry Danger, The Thundermans and more. Not only that, but there’s a brand new animated show, The Adventures Of Kid Danger, from 9 April on Nicktoons (CH 717), which features Kid Danger and Captain Man. And if that wasn’t enough, look out for Jace’s new film, Blurt!, co-starring JoJo Siwa, on 6 April at 5pm!
The Virgin TV Kids app
This little Easter egg definitely shouldn’t be kept hidden! Included at no extra cost for Fun TV and Full House TV customers, this handy app is perfect if you’re going away for the holidays or simply want to access oodles of kids entertainment whenever you want. New episodes of favourites like Paw Patrol, Wacky Races and Blaze And The Monster Machines are added every week and there are two new games – “Stack And Stew” and “Colour And Draw” – for the little ones to enjoy, too!
What’s more, from 1 April, you can enjoy the Virgin TV Kids app across the EU. Now that really is handy!
The Marvel Avengers channel
All day, every day from 1-29 April, Disney XD+1 (CH 708)
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is larger than life. So with Avengers: Infinity War hitting cinemas at the end of the month, it makes sense for Disney to dedicate an entire month to a Marvel Avengers channel. From 1 April, they’ll be showing four seasons of animated adventure Marvel Avengers Assemble, as well as some exclusive shorts. If you need a hero this Easter, Disney XD+1 more than has you covered.
Watch every day from 26 March, 8.30am, Nicktoons (CH 717)
Where would we be without the little guy in his pineapple under the sea? Nicktoons are putting on a Spongebob’s Big Squeeze special this Easter, showing all-time fave episodes as well as some rather egg-cellent specials. Stick around on Nicktoons afterwards from 2pm for new episodes of The Adventures Of Kid Danger from 9 April, as well as Alvin and The Loud House.
Shimmer And Shine
Monday 2 April, 4.30pm, Nick Jr. (CH 715)
The little ones can get all aflutter at the latest adventures of twin genies-in-training Shimmer and Shine. It’s the show that’s sweeter and sparklier than a chocolate egg dipped in edible glitter, and brand new episodes are arriving on Easter Monday. For even more magic, Shimmer And Shine are part of Nick Jr's Fantastic Five all Easter, so tune in every day from 26 March until 15 April, from 7am. You didn't even need to wish for it!
