Pick of the week: Women’s FA Cup Final – Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur

Sunday 12 May, 1.50pm, BBC One HD (CH 101)

The “big three” have dominated this competition to such an extent recently that this is the first final since 2005 not to feature Arsenal, Chelsea or Man City. But there will be a new name on the cup this year: it’s United’s second final (after defeat to Chelsea last year) and Spurs’ first. For both teams, their finest moments this season have come in the FA Cup: Tottenham knocked out Man City in the quarter-finals while Man Utd saw off Chelsea in a memorable semi-final, and now they have their chance to grab some Wembley glory.

Key players for United could be England’s Ella Toone and Spanish international Lucía García, both of whom have a habit of scoring crucial goals. Spurs’ England striker Beth Engand has not been as prolific as usual this season, but her deadly finishing ability will be a threat. The biggest problem for Tottenham will be the absence of influential midfielder Grace Clinton – on loan from United, she’s unable to play against her parent club. It’s going to be a terrific battle and whoever wins, the celebrations will be something special.

Pick of the week: The Blackening

Available from Friday 17 May in Sky Cinema on demand. Cert 15

In the subversive tradition of Scream comes comedy horror The Blackening, from writers Tracy Oliver (Girls Trip) and Dewayne Perkins (who also stars) and director Tim Story (Ride Along). A group of Black people find themselves in a creepy cabin in the woods and have to escape not only from the masked psycho toying with them but also from every race-based cliché of every slasher film ever made. It all revolves around a macabre board game called The Blackening, which forces them to confront the ultimate question: who is the most Black? It’s smart, unfiltered, bloody and very, very funny.
