There are a few ways to change your Virgin Media WiFi password and name. Simply download our handy Virgin Media Connect app or use your internet browser and follow the steps below.
To help you identify what Hub you have please see the images below.
Step 1: Enter 192.168.0.1 into the address bar of your browser
Step 2: Log in to see the settings page, using your default password
Step 3: Select Admin and then Change password
Step 4: Enter existing password, then enter new password.
Step 5: Select Apply changes
Step 6: Restart your computers and devices and try to reconnect to the Hub

Important tips:
Step 1: Enter 192.168.0.1 into the address bar on your browser
Step 2: Log in to see the settings page and select Advanced settings > Wireless > Security.
Step 3: Set the WiFi Network Name (SSID) broadcast options to No for both 2.4GHz and 5Ghz.
Step 4: Select Apply changes

Step 1: Enter 192.168.0.1 into the address bar on your browser
Step 2: Log in to see the settings page and select Advanced settings > Wireless > Security.
Step 3: Set the WiFi Network Name (SSID) broadcast options to No for both 2.4GHz and 5Ghz.
Step 4: Select Apply changes
Important
Simply follow the steps below.
Step 1: Enter 192.168.0.1 into address bar
Step 2: Login to settings page using default password
Step 3: Read and acknowledge security warning by selecting OK
Step 4: Select the Super Hub settings icon
Step 5: Enter new password, before selecting Save password
Important tips:
We recommend that you leave the default wireless settings as they are. If you’re certain that you’d rather the Hub didn't broadcast its wireless network names (SSID), you can disable it.
Step 1: Enter 192.168.0.1 into address bar
Step 2: Login to settings page and select Advanced settings
Step 3: In the Wireless section select 2.4GHz Primary Wireless Network
Step 4: Untick the box labelled Enable SSID Broadcast
Step 5: Select Apply at the bottom of the page.
Step 6: You’ll see a pop-up window asking to confirm the changes, select Yes
Step 7: Return to the Wireless section using the button at the top of the screen
Step 8: In the Wireless Section, select 5GHz Primary Wireless Network
Step 9: Repeat Steps 4 to 6
