Introduction to Disney+ Premium

Disney+ Premium is now one of the fantastic entertainment services available through our brand-new service Stream from Virgin Media or via Virgin TV 360.



How can I get Disney+ Premium via Virgin Media?

If you’re already a Stream customer, adding Disney+ Premium is easy – just log into My Virgin Media, click “View package”, then “Stream”. From there you can select Disney+ Premium and follow the on-screen instructions. If you don’t yet have Stream, you can check out our bundles and package options at Stream from Virgin Media. For Virgin TV 360 customers, if you are already a Disney+ Premium subscriber, simply log into the app on your Virgin TV box. For customers new to Virgin Media – select one of the Broadband/TV bundles currently available, then:

  • Enter your postcode when prompted to check availability in your area

  • Select ‘Customize your bundle’ then under ‘Entertainment Services’ select Disney+ Premium to add it to your order

  • From there complete your order as normal – an email will be sent with instructions on how to activate your account in MyVM

How am I charged for Disney+ Premium if I’m adding it to my Virgin Media bill?

When you sign up to Disney+ Premium via Virgin Media you’ll be charged on monthly basis for the service at a cost of £10.99 per month. You’ll see the charge for Disney+ Premium on your monthly Virgin Media bill. If you decide to unsubscribe from Disney+ Premium, the charge will be removed following your final monthly billing period.


New Disney+ Premium Pricing

Yes, your Disney+ subscription will change from £7.99/month to £10.99/month. This is because Disney+ has changed the way their subscriptions work and introduced three subscription plans: Premium, Standard and Standard With Ads.

As an existing Disney+ subscriber through Virgin Media, you’ll automatically get the Disney+ Premium plan, allowing you to make the most of your Disney+ experience.

The Premium plan includes up to 4K UHD & HDR video, 4 concurrent streams, downloads on up to 10 devices, up to Dolby Atmos audio, and ad-free streaming.

From 6th December 2023 – you’ll see the new price on the next bill you receive on or after this date.

For now, we only offer the Disney+ Premium plan.

The Disney+ Premium plan is ad-free, allows you to watch on four devices at the same time, and offers up to Ultra HD streaming on 4K-ready devices – plus Dolby Atmos sound – for the greatest Disney+ viewing experience.

If you’d like to move to a different tier, you’ll need to cancel your subscription with us by logging in to your My Virgin Media account before signing up with Disney+ directly.

Yes, you can cancel your subscription by signing in to your My Virgin Media account or getting in touch with us on 0345 454 1111.

Yes. To keep your existing Disney+ account, just sign up on My Virgin Media with the same email address. This will pause your subscription so you can start a new one through us.

If you’re paying for Disney+ with another provider, you’ll need to manage this before setting up an account through us so you’re not double-billed.

We offer the Disney+ Premium plan as standard, so if you already have Disney+ Premium, your subscription will stay the same.

If you have one of the other Disney+ plans (Standard or Standard With Ads), you’ll be automatically upgraded to the Disney+ Premium plan. The price of your subscription will change to the new Disney+ Premium plan price (currently £10.99 per month) – giving you access to all its features, including ad-free streaming, up to 4K UHD & HDR video, 4 concurrent streams, downloads on up to 10 devices and up to Dolby Atmos audio.

Yes, you can log in with your existing details and continue paying your current provider monthly – unless you have Disney+ Standard With Ads.

In this case, you can upgrade to either the Standard plan or Premium plan to access your subscription on your TV box.

When you sign up to Disney+ via Virgin Media you’ll be charged on monthly basis for the service at a cost of £10.99 per month. You’ll see the charge for Disney+ on your monthly Virgin Media bill. If you decide to unsubscribe from Disney+, the charge will be removed following your final monthly billing period.

You’ll see the Disney+ charge in the Entertainment Services section of your Virgin Media bill.

If you’ve registered for e-billing, you can see your Disney+ plan charged to your account since your last bill under Entertainment Services in My Virgin Media, and the My Virgin Media app.

If you already have a Disney+ account direct with Disney and want to keep your existing account profile, you must sign up with the same email address.

This way, your existing Disney+ subscription will pause when you start a new one through TV 360, in order to pay for it through your Virgin Media bill.

If you already have a Disney+ subscription with another provider, contact them to avoid paying twice when you subscribe through TV 360.

We offer the Disney+ Premium plan as standard, so if you already have Disney+ Premium, your subscription will stay the same. When you pay your Disney+ plan via your Virgin Media bill, you’ll need to make sure you’re all up to date with your payments to us.

If you don’t keep your payments up to date with Virgin Media, Virgin Media will let Disney+ know there has been an issue with your payment, and your Disney+ plan may be cancelled or suspended. You may re-join directly with Disney+ by adding a new payment method on file directly with Disney+ if this happens.

You’ll be able to use Disney+ until the end of the billing period you’ve paid for on your final Virgin Media bill.

Once we’ve stopped billing you for your Disney+ plan, Disney+ will let you know how you can update your payment method to pay Disney+ directly.

You can manage your Disney+ subscription and view your bill via your MyVM account. You can cancel your subscription on 30 days’ notice. The procedure to cancel your account via MyVM is as follows:

  1. Log into MyVM and select View under Entertainment Services’

  2. From Entertainment Services select Manage on the Disney+ tile

  3. From the pop-up choose Cancel Subscription

  4. Once confirmed you will still be able to watch till the end of your monthly billing period

If you would like to add Disney+ again or place a pause on your cancellation, this can be done at the end of the monthly period by contacting Virgin Media support.

If you’ve forgotten any of your Disney+ sign in details, don’t worry. You can easily reset your details with Disney+. Remember these details are separate to your My Virgin Media username and password. More details below.

  • If you have forgotten your Disney+ password, you will need to visit the Disney+ login page.

  • Enter your username and select Continue, then when asked for your password select the ‘Forgot your password?’ link

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your password

  • To retrieve your username, you will need to retrieve your Disney+ ID and contact Disney directly on 020 3936 2903

  • You can find your Disney+ ID in MyVM

  • Login your account, select Entertainment Services and then select Disney+ ID on the Disney+ tile


The Legal Stuff

Subject to eligibility checks. Available to new or returning Disney+ Premium customers only who join Disney+ Premium after activation of Stream from Virgin Media or via Virgin TV 360 services. . You must be and remain at all times a Virgin Media cable customer to pay for Disney+ Premium through your Virgin Media bill. Virgin TV subscription and compatible Virgin TV box required to watch Disney+ on your TV or on any compatible devices. Your use of the Disney+ Premium service is subject to Disney+ Terms and Conditions. Contract for your Disney+ Premium services remains with Disney+ Premium at all times. To add your Disney+ Premium charges to your Virgin Media bill, you must sign up to Disney+ Premium via Stream or 360. By choosing to add Disney+ Premium to your Virgin Media bill, you agree that Virgin Media (including through our agent Virgin Media Payments Ltd) is entitled to bill you for your monthly Disney+ Premium subscription charges, which you agree to pay in full and when they become due in accordance with the payment terms of your Virgin Media Cable services contract. We reserve the right to notify Disney+ Premium that we refuse your Disney+ Premium charge at any time, including if you fail to pay us any sums due (or are otherwise in breach of your Virgin Media cable services contract), in which case you will be required to set up an alternative method with Disney+ Premium to prevent loss of their service. You will remain liable to pay Virgin Media for all charges already notified to Virgin Media by Disney+ Premium. If you want to remove Disney+ Premium from your Virgin Media bill, you can do this at any time by accessing your Disney+ Premium account and changing your payment method. If you leave Virgin Media cable services, we’ll be unable to accept future Disney+ Premium charges on your account from your disconnection date. To prevent losing access to your Disney+ Premium services, you will need to set up an alternative payment method with Disney+ Premium at Disney+.com/youraccount. Further legal stuff applies.
