Intro to Netflix Services
Some of our bundles now include Netflix at no extra cost. If you’re an existing Netflix customer, you’ll be able to keep your account and switch your Netflix services to Virgin Media. If one of these bundles is not right for you, you also have the option of adding Netflix to your Virgin Media bill.
How can I get Netflix via Virgin Media?
You can either choose one of our Netflix Inclusive bundles or add Netflix to your Virgin Media bill. Head over to https://www.virginmedia.com/broadband/packages or you can contact us on 0800 064 3850. For more help on Netflix and what this means, check our FAQs below by selecting one of the options.
Get a Virgin Media bundle that includes Netflix
If you choose one of our Netflix inclusive bundles, Netflix will be included in your total monthly package price at no extra cost.
Some of our bundles now include Netflix at no extra cost.
You will see Netflix in the ‘Netflix’ section of your bill, but there won’t be a charge. If you decide to upgrade to another Netflix tier, the additional charge for this will be shown in the ‘Netflix’ section of your bill.
If you already have Netflix but are buying one of our inclusive bundles, it’s important to make sure you use the same e-mail address that your current Netflix account is registered to when activating the service – everything will then transfer over to us automatically.
If you don’t use the same e-mail address, you’ll carry on being charged through Netflix directly as before.
Add Netflix to my Virgin Media bill
When you join Netflix, your service charges start from the day you join. We may create your Virgin Media bill for your services with us on a different day.
Normally, each Virgin Media bill will include one monthly fee for your Netflix plan.
However, when your Netflix renewal date and Virgin Media bill date are very close together, you may occasionally see some changes to how the Netflix renewal fee shows on your Virgin Media bill.
Sometimes we may prepare your Virgin Media bill before your next Netflix billing date is due - in that case you may not see a Netflix charge on that bill. Where this happens, you may see a Netflix charge for two months on your next Virgin Media bill instead of one. Don’t worry, you won’t be charged any extra for Netflix than you normally are. In case you’re ever in doubt, the date of your Netflix billed through date is listed on your Virgin Media bill.
If you’ve completed the Netflix sign-up process through your Virgin Media TiVo or 360 box, and have Virgin Media as your payment option, Netflix will notify us of your service charge which will be added to your Virgin Media bill.
You’ll then just pay for this together with your other Virgin Media services on your bill. If you pay us through Direct Debit, this means we’ll add it to your monthly payment without you having to do anything else.
If you don’t see the option for Virgin Media billing on your box, or if you sign up via the Netflix website, you will pay for Netflix directly instead of having your plan added to your Virgin Media bill.
Can I share my Netflix account?
Anyone in your household can use your Netflix account. People who are not in your household will need to sign up for their own account to watch. Please visit www.netflix.com/sharing for more information.
How do I set my Netflix Household?
For information on how to set or update your Netflix Household, please visit https://help.netflix.com/node/128339. If customers don’t set a Netflix Household, Netflix will do this automatically; this can be updated by customers at any time.
