Accessing the HBO Max App

All customers who have subscribed to TNT Sports TV Channels will now have access to stream TNT Sports through the HBO Max app. If you’re an existing HBO Max customer, you’ll be able to keep your account and add TNT Sports via Virgin Media as well.

When you subscribe to the TNT Sports TV channels via Virgin Media, you’ll automatically receive access to the TNT Sports plan on the HBO Max app at no additional cost. You can now browse and stream TNT Sports at home on your TV box or on the go through the HBO Max app.

You will not be billed/charged to stream TNT Sports through the HBO Max app, as you have already subscribed to TNT Sports channels via Virgin Media and this is added at no extra cost.

All Virgin TV customers who are subscribed to the TNT Sports channel pack will now have access to stream TNT Sports content through the HBO Max app, at no additional cost.

Virgin Media will send you an activation email. Once you log-in to My VM, you will be taken to an activate page. You need to activate your HBO Max account and accept the HBO Max Terms of Use. If you already have an HBO Max account, you can login with your existing details. 

You can also open the HBO Max app on your set top box and follow the instructions there to activate via the QR code with your mobile device. 

If you already have access to TNT Sports on HBO Max, via a subscription with HBO Max directly or via another provider, you will need to manage your subscriptions to avoid being billed more than once. Go to the My Account section of the HBO Max app for details of your subscriptions.

You can access the HBO Max app on Virgin TV360 and Stream boxes. HBO Max is also available on select devices including phones, tablets, computers, TVs, streaming players and set-top boxes.

No—there’s no requirement to activate TNT Sports on HBO Max if you don’t want to use it. It’s simply an extra benefit included with your TNT Sports channel pack.

If you do want to enjoy TNT Sports on HBO Max,  you’ll just need to activate the app using the link provided. Looking ahead, some TNT Sports content that you currently get through the red button on your set‑top box will move to the HBO Max app. If you haven’t activated it, you won’t be able to access that content in the future.

Once you subscribe to TNT Sports channels via Virgin Media, you will receive an activation email . If you chose to activate this VM variant, and you already have an HBO Max account, using your existing email and password for the HBO Max App  and you would be able to see all the subscriptions via different partner platform (e.g. via Play Store or App Store) and then you can chose to cancel the existing subscriptions or continue them . If you use any other email address, this will result in creating a new account on the HBO Max aApp, and therefore multiple subscriptions.

If you leave Virgin Media / unsubscribe from TNT sports TV channels, then your TNT Sports content through the HBO Max app would also be cancelled at the end of your channel subscription.

Since this is a bonus plan you cannot cancel it and it would be automatically cancelled once you unsubscribe to TNT Sports TV Channels via Virgin Media.

Yes, you can add an Entertainment plan via HBO Max app on the Virgin Media set-top box and follow the instructions. The billing for this will be via HBO Max.

Yes, you can continue to watch TNT Sports 1-4 channels as usual, on TV Go. If you want access to all the TNT Sports content, you can stream it on the HBO Max app at no additional cost.

Yes, you can continue to watch TNT Sports 1-4 and TNT Sports Ultimate channels as usual. If you want access to all the TNT Sports content, you can stream it on the HBO Max app at no additional cost.
